About Kristina's Art Corner

I am an on an art journey that started out with staining wood to upcycling furniture in 2017 to now creating some of my own original artwork as well as coloring in adult coloring books. I do art hauls on this channel, coloring process videos as well as some original art pieces. If you love art and shopping for art supplies, then you are in the right place.  

My previous work careers involved being a legal assistant at a public defender's office to managing several medical facilities billing operations. Both require research and I apply that to picking out art supplies and finding creative ways to fill an art page. Along my career path, I developed a medical condition that would no longer allow me to work a 9-5 sit down job. After mourning the career path I was headed in and then assessing the value I had placed in my self confidence, because of my work, I decided I needed a hobby that would allow my creative mind to flourish and that could provide that self worth. I want to leave a positive impression on my children and grandchildren. I don't want them to ever feel like one path is the only path for them, and make something positive of a soured experience or health set back. We all have it in us to drop to our knees when times are difficult, but we all also have the ability to have a comeback story that may look totally different than the idea we gave ourselves early in our life path. 

My life has prepared me to share my life stories, to create art and blend the two, which is why on my logo it says Art imitates life. There are great art pieces and ones that we want to quit before finishing or just don't think are good enough to share with anyone. I am here to share my life experiences and take you on my art journey which really saved my life. I love experimenting in art and that's what I plan to share with you along the way with any tips I can learn and share with you. I believe through video this is the best way to do this.
